These new and updated projects have been designed so that the links between Science and DT are exploited to the benefit of both subject areas.

The ‘project kit’ is supplied as a bag of parts.

There is a comprehensive set of instructions with clear diagrams showing how a fully working product can be constructed.

There are additional parts which can be used as the user sees fit to help improve or redesign the product.

There are design challenges and problem solving activities described.

There is support on the website by way of background information, pictures, suggestions, clues etc. to allow the user to take the project to extremes if required. (some of the information is already on the website and more info will be added as the projects come into use).
